The second General Membership Meeting will be held on February 19, 2026

at the Dallas Children’s Theater

5938 Skillman Street

Dallas, Texas 75231

This venue is one of our favorites and of course the Guild is well acquainted with the history of the Dallas Children’s Theater. Founded by Robyn Flatt and Dennis Vincent, the link between DCT and DTC is strong and interesting.

Our contact at DCT is working with their Artistic Director, Emily Ernst, and given all the glowing reports we have heard about Ms. Ernst from DCT staff members and the arts community we are sure her plan will be fantastic!!

The Third General Membership Meeting will be held on May 10, 2026

at Theatre Three

2688 Laclede Street, Suite 120

Dallas, Texas 75204

Theatre Three is a jewel in the middle of the downtown/uptown area. Recently their Artistic Director met with our current and past presidents for an informative, open communication. And we had an outing there last year that was well attended and enjoyed by all. We are looking forward to this meeting so be sure to sign up as soon as possible – you won’t want to miss this one!

The Fourth General Membership Meeting will be held on August 20, 2026. We are still working on the details and will get all the information out to our members as soon as possible.

guild & guitar

At the request of Kevin Moriarty, Executive Director of the Dallas Theater Center, the Guild brought back this wonderful event. Dickens was held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the Hall of State at Fair Park. The event was a big success, and attendees liked the new format – tastings from several chef stations – as well as traditional features like the live and silent auction, complimentary beverages and complimentary valet parking. Ricki Derek and his 6-piece band were also a big hit and we’re looking forward to Dickens in 2026.

The 2025 Dickens was chaired by Susan Falvo with Nan-Elizabeth Byorum, Glenda Camp. Kathleen Foley, Julie Goldfarb, John Howell, Martha Jarmon, Judy Mathis, Sarah Warnecke, and Peggy Utay capably serving on the Dickens Committee.
