April 2026 – date and time TBD
At the request of Kevin Moriarty, Executive Director of the Dallas Theater Center, the Guild brought back this wonderful event. Dickens was held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the Hall of State at Fair Park. The event was a big success, and attendees liked the new format – tastings from several chef stations – as well as traditional features like the live and silent auction, complimentary beverages and complimentary valet parking. Ricki Derek and his 6-piece band were also a big hit and we’re looking forward to Dickens in 2026.
The 2025 Dickens was chaired by Susan Falvo with Nan-Elizabeth Byorum, Glenda Camp. Kathleen Foley, Julie Goldfarb, John Howell, Martha Jarmon, Judy Mathis, Sarah Warnecke, and Peggy Utay capably serving on the Dickens Committee.
